Description
Demigod Mentality by Marcus Follin – The Golden One – contains philosophical musings as well as plenty of autobiographical elements. I, Marcus, wrote Dauntless in an unpersonal style – Demigod Mentality, on the other hand, was written straight from my heart. Therefore, the book contains stories and insights from my own life. I also endeavour to present the psychological mechanisms that determine human behaviour, and the metaphysical underpinnings of the modern world and European civilisation. Moreover, I present some practical teachings that can aid the reader along the great journey towards one’s ideal self.
The book has 276 pages and contains the following chapters:
Behold my Magnificence
Chapter 1. Mentality, Magic, and Metaphysics
Chapter 2. Who Am I?
Chapter 3. The Story of Who We Are
Chapter 4. Archetypes and the Philosopher Prince
Chapter 5. The Higher and the Lower
Chapter 6. Cultural Observations
Chapter 7. Men and Women
Chapter 8. The Runes
Chapter 9. Europe and the Indo-Europeans
Chapter 10. European Religion
Chapter 11. Spiritual Musings
Chapter 12. The Greatest Glory

What a joy to read, a real page-turner! A most worthy followup to Dauntless. Marcus’s writing and English have improved greatly!
Although similar in style and content, Demigod Mentality delves much deeper into who Marcus is as a person – and the things that have shaped his character and destiny.
As stated in the description, the book deals with various topics of interest: metaphysics, European history and religion, politics, culture, fiction, philosophy, esoteric mysteries, the spiritual, women and men.
I’m sure I will reread this many times in the future!

I have read Marcus’ first book (Dauntless) and really enjoyed it. However, I have to say that this book is twice as good in my opinion. Also, having bought products from Marcus a couple different times now, it has been very pleasant and he even switched my size when I got my sizing wrong on my order. 5 stars, we are so back!

This is the kind of book I wish I had been able to read as a younger man. It provides a fantastic framework for personal development. Well-written and highly inspirational!

We all know how important good food is for the body. Well, this book is sure to feed your mind an healthy dose of concepts, ideas and insight.
While Dauntless was a great introduction to Marcus’ teachings, this more mature follow-up goes beyond the basics.
Demigod mentality discusses sources of inner strength in historical, cultural and metaphysical spheres. Marcus also shares some life lessons of his.
If anything this read reinforced in me the belief that anything can be used as fuel to move forwards and upwards.
If you’re a young european man currently building a better life definitely invest in this one.

Excellent book. I am apolitical. This book lacks a bit of adventurous concentration; one can sense it is sometimes close to Evola and a certain metaphysics.
Otherwise, there’s one thing I judge: the rating. There are people like Kant and Aristotle who are 25/20; those guys are geniuses. I found the first book a bit too empty but pragmatic and effective. Here, there is improvement. It is very rare for writers to improve in 2024. I gave the first book a 10/20, but here I give it a good 14.(most writers gave up or do not evolve at all, this determination or “”will”” we can feel it)
However, this book is excellent if you are a Nordic and you want your child or teenager to be close to Marcus’ ideas. I give it a very good score because there is evolution. Obviously, as time goes by, the more Marcus wants to write books that rise high in method, technique, and innovation, the harder it will be. (very good anyway)
My big question when I finished this book was, “Great, but now that I have seen Marcus make an improvement, how far can he go?”
I am eagerly awaiting the release of the next book, but be careful, my dear Marcus: the higher you climb in the scores, the harder it becomes to maintain the concentration and willpower in writing. He remains a very pragmatic person. And a very nice book.
Buy it; you will learn a lot.

A more than worthy follow-up to Dauntless! Demigod Mentality deals with many various and interesting topics. Too many to give a proper summary without turning this humble review into a full-blown essay, but I can assure that there will be something of interest for every aspiring warrior-poet, cultured thug and aristocrat of the soul! Aside from the topics themselves, it’s very interesting to read about Marcus’ personal thoughts and perspectives on each matter as well as learning more about his own story and who he is in a greater extent than in his previous book.
My one criticism of this fine book is that, although the English grammar and spelling has improved, there’s still a few minor errors here and there throughout the book. It’s nothing that takes away from the reading experience, and I almost feel like a nitpicker by bringing it up, but I hope and believe that any constructive criticism will be well received.
This is a highly inspiring and motivating book and I will definitely reread it many times! Demigod Mentality will be a great tool in order to (as to paraphrase the quote on the back cover) “by the free will of one’s spirit be reborn as a divine creature and become a superman”!

The book reminded me of a nice and deep conversation with someone who ist very into his topics. But, similarly to a conversation, not every topic could be presented in proper depth. Facing that high amount of touched fields, it would have been enough to write two books – one about biography and personal insights into family life etc., and one about spiritual and historical views. I see that it is all connected but it could have been more concise and focused on the meaning of the demigod mentality. Overall I enjoyed the insights and it already motivated me to dive deeper into some topics. I will surely revisit most chapters to further reflect upon them.
