Traditional cooking with a colonial twist!
This cookbook contains healthy and nourishing recipes from all over Europe, from the cold Atlantic to the warm Mediterranean.
I, Marcus, loving husband of Julia, can highly recommend the food presented in this tome. My performance – both athletic and cognitive – is on point thanks to my wife’s cooking.

From what I have tried so far, these are both faithful and delicious recipes, in a very beautiful and well made book.
I look forward to tasting the rest and feeling the health benefits that are clearly one of the major aims of the dishes. I was also pleased to find useful extra details like the broth recipes that are so often used in the dishes when I realised I didnt know how to do them myself.
Highly recommended and highly glorious!

I must admit I have only tried two dishes. The chicken in tomato sauce and the Scottish shortbread. Both have been absolute winners and I am extremely eager to make more of the recipes within the pages. The book itself is gorgeous and easy to follow, with clear instructions and pictures to go with. It also has additional instructions for certain foods like sourdough and broth at the beginning, which is mighty helpful. And since the measurements are all in the heathen Metric system ( a jest), there is a very handy conversion table at the back. The book itself, its recipes, and its creator are all of extraordinary quality.
